Do You Want to Cruise to Your Own Private Island? You Can Do It Now

Consider sailing away on a luxurious cruise ship. This is not a dream or a fantasy. This trip of a lifetime exists, and you can take it. The private island is known as “Perfect Day at CocoCay,” and it is owned by the Royal Caribbean cruise line. Royal Caribbean is investing $200 million to transform the island into the ultimate family vacation destination.

What is CocoBay?

Royal Caribbean’s 125-acre private island in the Bahamas, CocoCay, is located 55 miles north of Nassau. Its immaculate beaches are a treat for the senses, and the unique attractions that are currently being built will excite all family members.

Get Ready for Royal Caribbean’s Perfect Day Island Collection

CocoCay will get a new name from Royal Caribbean. “Perfect Day at CocoCay” will be the name of the newly renovated island. The Perfect Day Island Collection by Royal Caribbean, which will also include exclusive islands in the Caribbean, Asia, and Australia, starts with this island. Over the following few years, the islands will begin to open.

Perfect Day at CocoCay’s Amazing Special Attractions

Amazing attractions will be available at CocoCay, including one of the Bahamas’ largest waterparks with a total of 13 water slides. The Caribbean or even the entirety of North America currently has nothing on some of these attractions. Here are some of the highlights:

  • ”Daredevil’s Peak,” a 135-foot slide, which will be the tallest in North America
  • ”Screeching Serpent,” a high-speed vertical slide
  • The Caribbean’s biggest wave pool
  • 450-foot helium balloon ride that offers breathtaking views of the Caribbean from the highest vantage point
  • A kid-friendly pool with obstacles
  • a 1,600-foot-long zipline with a watery end
  • The largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean, “Oasis Lagoon,” features a cove for families, a cove for adults with a swim-up bar, and a cove with cabanas.
  • “Chill Island,” where you can swim, take a guided snorkel tour in the clear waters, ride a jet ski, or unwind on the white sand.
  • Play beach volleyball or beach basketball, go paddle boarding or kayaking, get a snack at the Snack Shack or a drink at the floating bar, and relax under a beach teepee. This is “South Beach,” where the fun never ends.
  • The ultimate in relaxation is provided by “Coco Beach Club,” which offers over-the-water cabanas with individual water slides and over-the-water hammocks.
  • Nature hikes to appreciate the island’s splendor

Booking a Cruise to CocoCay

Officially set to open in November 2019, the renovated Perfect Day at CocoCay will also offer some attractions earlier. The new pier, Oasis Lagoon, and Chill Island will open in September 2018, South Beach will reopen in April 2019, the waterpark will open in April 2019, and the over-water cabanas at the Coco Beach Club will open in November 2019.

You can visit CocoCay before all the renovations are finished if you’d like to travel there sooner. Here are a few examples of cruise itineraries you can reserve right away:

  • A 3-night cruise departing January 11, 2019, from Orlando, Florida, to Nassau and CocoCay starts at $235 plus taxes, fees, and port expenses.
  • A 4-night cruise to Nassau and CocoCay departing from Miami, Florida on November 26, 2018, is available for $369 plus taxes, fees, and port charges.

What CocoCay’s New Amenities Will Add to the Cruise Experience

When the Perfect Day at CocoCay renovations are finished, the island will raise the bar for family-friendly vacationing significantly.

Numerous records are broken by CocoCay. If you enjoy trying new things, you’ll enjoy the sense of accomplishment that comes with riding a balloon to the Caribbean’s highest vantage point or sliding down North America’s tallest water slide. You can’t get a private cabana over the water anywhere else in the Caribbean.

Children can experience safe, exhilarating adventures at CocoCay that they will never forget. Even adults enjoy the slides and balloon rides. If you’d prefer to unwind, you can take a nature walk, enjoy a drink at a floating bar, go snorkeling, or rent a glass-bottom kayak to explore the underwater world. Or you could simply lay on the sand, enjoy the warmth of the sun on your back, and let all your worries drift away.

The standard for cruise vacations has been raised by the new CocoCay features. If you’ve taken cruises before, CocoCay will provide you with experiences you haven’t had yet. If this is your first cruise, a trip to CocoCay is an excellent way to get acquainted with the industry.
